26 more days. 26 more days before I leave behind 2.5 months of work. Crazy shits happening. Shits thats going down unplanned. People whom I'd never thought I'd befriend. A person whom I'd never thought I'd fall for. Confidence I never knew I had. As I pile on the years, I've noticed that I get emotionally attached to people more easily.

10years with my primary school mates. 8 with Izwan and Fathul and the secondary school mates, 3years with the poly mates, 3 MONTHS with the FYP gang and now 2.5 months with the LOG, CS, TECH people.

I've been blessed to meet such wonderful people and whose friendship I will cherish.

But ultimately, I'll miss you, and especially you, the most. Whatever the outcome tomorrow, I hope we can stay like how we are now, and possibly more. I've been subtly rejected and ditched all in the span of 3-4 months??(I'm not gonna use this as an excuse to make myself more pitiful) and I hope the saying "3rd time's the charm" rings true. It's all cliche if I say I cant see myself with anyone but you, but thats how I really feel.

Love's brought me down before and that's where I stayed for a while till I finally picked myself up and dusted myself down. I hope you'll be there, waiting, with open arms...

My serving orders came in the mail today. 2nd August.

Life phases are passing by in top gear. Thinking back 3 years ago, this very day(metaphorically of course) it was "finally, days of school uniforms are over", who knew that in 3 years time I'd be donning a new uniform, representing a new 'school' shall we say. Thousands of males, of various colours, donning the same uniform, leaving the comforts of their own home to serve the Republic.

3 years breezed past. Memories were made. Both good and bad. Cum 19th May, I leave behind days of mindless fun, never ending folly and silly endeavors. After 19th May, serious thoughts on life have to be made. Finishing my license, finding a job that can sustain not only me but my family to mention a couple. I've come to realise that the monthly allowances won't begin to cover my shopping habit let alone my lifestyle. Money, it seems, DOES make the world go round.

I'm hoping the Y.O.G job wont bail on me at the eleventh hour. Finishing my license alone would make me roughly 500 bucks poorer. 500 bucks of which would be a struggle for Mom alone to sponsor me. 500 bucks of which I don't have. 500 bucks worth of sweat. Not to even mention other infamous items that I have my sights on.

Dilemma numero uno. Should Dad attend my graduation?

Dilemma numero dos. Its been going on for a while now. I hope you have an inkling of what's happening and my feelings towards you. The easy way out would be to tell her when I'm about to serve. Then I'll be more worried about serving rather than her reaction. But cynics would bring about the "what's right and what is easy". I'm aware what I'll be doing wont be right but I've yet summon the courage to tell her.

I have a gut feeling you know I'm openly flirting with you but you keep on going. It's surprising how often I'd say I'll break off our -ship but yet I keep coming back. If that doesn't tell you how head over heels for you I am, I don't know what will.

had my medical on Thursday. we were so selenge la, till we missed our stop. INJECTION!!! NEEDLES!!! maximum SCARE! practically psyche everyone waiting in line out with my squirming and fiddling. in the end, IT DIDNT HURT AS MUCH! wah, make me stress only. will be heading to Alexandra on the 14th to review my PES status. issit too much to ask for an A? skipped the rest of the day's classes even though lessons just started. headed to Vivo for makan and window shop. met Erni along the way. *cough^^cough* and headed to the rooftop to wade in the pool! even though its raining. ): would have liked it if the water was warmer. oh well. in the end, i didnt change my license as initially wanted and i won this kid in Tekken 6!. BOB the fat ass martial artist FTW!

nothing much happened on Friday except for meeting my future-DJ-yg-nk-masok-in-one-week's-time, Haziqq and had an encounter with a queer kid after Friday prayers. and Aidil still owes me a Hip Hop Gig Out.

Saturday was very much hyped and it finally came. i actually forgot about the soccer tournament. =P we had to meet up at 7.30! AM! already had problems being on time for my 9am classes, wht more 7.30! luckily Momster woke me up waaaaay before dawn. warmed up before the game, which IMO is pointless since....lets just say we were given an early showers. headed to the Astroturf to satiate our soccer hunger. left the turf with a bruised/injured hip.

Soccer IS a contact sport. there'll be constant sliding tackle, mate, so bear with it! YOU had studs on so my slide WOULD have only knock you down. imperative word being WOULD! though i didnt get the ball, neither did i get YOUR leg! you even had the nerve to say "ape nie krg maen slide, nanti aku maen slide baru tau". sorry, i guess i didnt receive the memo saying we're playing in the pussy leagues. my bad.

after attending today's wedding, here's wht i had in thought for my big day. (yes, im starting to think)

i'd prolly want it to be at Lagunsari, just like Pipi's wedding. for the food, it'll contain the norm, briyani/nasi minyak, achai, rendang, ayam masak merah and and and! i want KRABU! which is some sort of chicken salad or a fancy name for it. trust me, its super nice! and can i please have sotong itam? well, its my wedding, so of course i can! (: DJ? no worries, i got Ziqq kn? can Ziqq? heh. Aidil! must come up with a rap for my big day ok? hehe. i want us to be dressed in white. any other colours? guest list would also be the norm, family & relatives. now, my soccer friends who KNOWS i have a blog will prolly be expecting me ranting on my goal but i'd rather start at the beginning of the day. a very bad day which made the end all the much sweeter.

BEGINNING OF A BAD DAY!

woke up fairly early, but arrived at the office at 9.40. like *hysterical screaming*. everyone actually halted their work to see me STRUT in. and i bumped into this lady wearing a "does-he-work-here" expression. so paiseh la! i got so used to the 9.30 Airport meet up that i actually forgot that we have to report at 9 at the office. =x

LUNCHTIME DISASTER!

walked to IMM's Mc. bloody crowded can? so we went through this narrow aisle to check on the seats at the back. apparently taken, i turned around. i knocked into this guy's tray and sent his coke/sprite flailing to the floor. he even had the cheek to say "you should not have turned" then gimme that irritated look. i profusely said sorry and was prepared to pay him until i looked at his face again. WAH! still irritated uh! what to do? walk out on him lor. NOW BEFORE ALL YOU LEECHES GO ON RAMBLING THAT IM SUCH AN BUTTHOLE, LEMME GIVE YOU MY SIDE OF THE STORY.

the width of the aisle was about a man and a half wide. add in the lunchtime crowd and you'll understand how cramp it was to move about. this GUY! was super uber duper close to me, that even as i HALF turn, i already struck his tray. ITS A HALF TURN MIND YOU! by the time i fully turn, i saw the cup dropped on his tray at an angle and rolled off. if you're THAT close to a person, be prepared for a balancing act and how in the world did he expect to get pass me WITHOUT at least wobbling his tray? impatient doesnt pay my friend.

so i walked to about the Mc entrance, turned to my friend who said "now do what?" and did the coolest (at least to me at that time) thing i could think of: the famed CRonaldo shug+pout.

once out, Sean said "he asked "so who's gonna pay for this?"". so we just walked briskly to the next food outlet we could find. now you be the judge: should i have stay and pay him or did i do the not-morally-but-physically right thing?

HOMEWARD BOUND. EH! IM SUPPOSE TO HEAD TO SCHOOL!!!!

jialat. board the wrong train. luckily i realised it when the train stopped at Clementi. got out, switch train and head back to Jurong. this is the part i loathe. on the short train back to Jurong, the train was SUPER packed that when the door closed, it would have been balls meet door saved for my cap's rim that made me arc my back slightly. now THERE'S a justifiable need to get my own transport. i cant just have everyone intruding onto my personal space/breathing room.

THE SUPER SWEET MOMENT THAT MAKES UP FOR TODAY'S BADASS-NESS

now, you COULD call this bragging but i rather call it From-My-Point-Of-View. now the details leading up to the goal is suddenly very sketchy to me. all i know is that i got the ball from wan, let the ball roll abit, feign my body right while kicking the ball the other way, ran around the defender, collected the ball and slot it past the helpless keeper. wht a moment! everyone was like YAT SCORE YAT SCORE!!! and in Zam's words "celebrate macam Premier League". it was even sweeter that the defender whom i tricked was the person who bodychecked and robbed me of a shot earlier. i was estatic, to say the least. no mere words could express my joy at the buildup of the goal. i'll be the first to say that im no technical/fanciful player. i dont twirl, do tricks, stepovers. i get the ball, get an opening, shoot. but to achieve that kind of trick is just too much for words to express. and i applaud wan for not being fanciful today. the chemistry between us today was top notch. he knew where i would be and i knew AT TIMES where'd he be. today was the best team effort we could possibly asked for.

a goal worth its weigh in gold (ok nie part da macam paham but DEFINITELY one for the memories.)

ok so here's the deal. i was in the train on the way to Changi for work right. i was crossing my legs and folding my arms like i normally do. then when the train entered the tunnel, i realise how thin i was! now i know some of you guys would be like smacking your forehead and saying "YaT, have you been in denial all this while?" but the thing is, i've always looked into a mirror and see myself up close thats why i didnt realise. and now i finally saw how others look at me.

and the weird part is, i tried wearing some of my shirts (ok well, prolly not ALL of them were my shirts) and i said to myself "urgh. cannot. too baggy" WHEN DID M SIZED SHIRTS WERE TOO BAGGY FOR ME!!! Wan and Fathul can vouched for that. stunned can?!

the other thing that kinda peeved me is WHY IN THE WORLD IS CHICKIES THE "IN" WORD?

whatever happened to the term chicks and babes? i mean, personally for me, i find the word chickies to be abit lame. i mean chicks are coined for hot babes right? everytime someone says chickies, i get this image of cute little yellow chicks(the chicken related ones) running around. quite a weird but awfully cute image to have when others are talking about girls dont you think?

and of ALL people, i bumped into FAD!!! suprise suprise!

he danced mostly with my company of friends. luckily no one got drunk. but they DID get high. we all danced on the podium. wooo! that was probably the best part of the night. Jackie rock steady la, get girl's number. Met Aidil's friends as well. by 3, only Aidil, Jackie, Shi Zhuang, Kelly, Cyndi and me were dancing. the rest were outside. i nearly drank a coke mixed with alcohol. phew! thanks Aidil for pointing it out. so in the end, i came home thirsty and had sore throat. on a personal level, i dont really think the music in Powerhouse is my style but i changed my tune soon after. next clubbing outing should be in 3 months time. Trip to Barrage was fun

i just love playing with the water. i know that sounds super GAY! but no Barrage trip would be complete without splashing in the water, no?

my whole upper body is aching from that gym session. ice on my chest isnt really my idea of fun.

Cathay plan was changed in the 11th hour. so after Barrage, we met Fathul at AMK Hub for ANGELS & DEMONS!

i gotta admit the movie was a bit too hyped up. the trailer kinda showed too much. ++ it kinda deviate away from the novel too. but overall it was 4 (Y) up. Blood: The Last Vampire and The Conspiracy looks good. NEXT UP! TRANSFORMERS 2!

t'day was fun!. shopped till i dropped at Expo's John Little sale but i only bought a pair of jerseys for running and soccer. had to wait for over an hour to just arrive at the cashier. an hour and twenty to be exact. ^^

had Friday prayers prior to that. quite overwhelmed by the number of people who turned up. there was LITERALLY nearly no more spaces to pray. luckily Fathul managed to get me and my brother some space to pray, albeit cramped. so THANKS FATHUL!. met khalid on the bus and ABG ROCKER, Ad outside the masjid. i left Fathul and Ad to their own devices and made my way to Expo.

the new mall, T1 at Tamp was soooo crowded. the VERY MUCH hyped up store, UNIQLO, had people queueing OUTSIDE just to get in. thats kinda a bummer because the reason i went there was to ACTUALLY enter Uniqlo. that alone kinda put me off.

went to Simei to have dinner at Banquet. Bubble Tea after. bumped into Zyma, Shazzie and Mar while waiting for the bus. I cant really remember what they were there for cause the bus arrived soon after.

back from Live and Loaded! what can i say? AWESOME!!! especially the opening act DJ Inquisitive and Dharni. To sum up their performance in one word is a HUGE understatement. If i were to pick a word, it would be MIND BLASTING! DJ and beatboxing at its best.

alot of pierced people though. when i say alot, i meant nearly everyone in the studio was pierced. though there was this one girl who AMAZINGLY did not have piercing elsewhere than it should. woke up at 12 and 40 mins later im blogging. and NO! i've yet to bathe. anyway, i went through my results again and this is what i found abt my GPA:

im really shocked at how BAD!!! i did for the first sem in my junior year. but it kinda balanced out no? i fared better in sophmore year second sem than any other semester so far. i really hope i ace FYP and attachment so that, according to my supervisor, my GPA will skyrocket. i dont wanna BUT hope i get admitted to Uni. whether or not that's in the horizon is yet to be seen. i'll DO my best and let fate run its course.

hello all, i'm really busy nowadays so dont expect much updating. Played soccer in my jeans yesterday. quite impromtu. FINALLY!!! after months of anticipating, i finally scored a goal!! a deft flick from the kick in. Now here comes the worse part, while on keeping duty, i saved a shot and sprained my wrist. Was really trying to not get injured but oh well. i hope this heals soon.

Saturday meet YaT, Wan, Arm, Zac and Khalid then made our way to Marina Barrage. Played around at the fountain and took a few pictures at the bridge. We were quite spastic, that i admit. We marched to the sounds of the Imperial March which was sooo crazy la. Took the shuttle back to Raffles Place then off to BK.

We met Zyma Mar Syam Shaz Zaid Dan at the Esplanade and we joked the night away. Took a cab, the second in a week!, with Mar and Zyma. These taxi rides are busting a hole in my wallet!!! GAH!!! but seriously it was fun la.

wanted to squeeze in a quick update on thursday but i was too shagged after the intense soccer session. remember the bad sprain i sustained a few months back? yep, the pain resurfaced again. although the pain was there, it wasnt as sharp as before. played till lights off. the darkness was kinda scary though. it wasnt pitch black but it was a close second. came home at 12, did my prayers and straight off to bed.

friday was a bummer. came to school for only 1 lesson. strike that, make that HALF a lesson. i came at 9.20. went for friday prayers at Bedok then off to school AGAIN for NYPMSN meeting. came home late yet again. so far, i am lacking in the snooze department.

and just when i wanted to catch some shut eye today, my dad decided to ask us out. so i obliged. its not everyday that i get to meet my dad. and YAY! my dad's giving me his bass and amps. so happy! =) after dad left, mum ajak us jalan jalan near the Esplanade area. wow! looking back at 08's Resolution and i found out, i didnt fully acheive any of it

NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS 08
- fitter bod (at least visible abs) (managed this for a bit then bleah! no more abs)
- pay more attention in class (partly achieved. i still dont pay attention much)
- better in soccer (mostly out for most of Nov. and they rarely play so i dont know)
- probably end my singles life =P (how long was this in my yearly NYR?)
- turn FAIRER!!! im freakin ssssssssss (i've turned DARKER!!!)

watched CloverField and finally had our first breakfast at McD. It was in this month that I realise that i totally and absolutely SUCK at soldering.

February
Another month of firsts. First fishing trip, first time praying at the beach, first time visiting T3. A month full of test. Bummed that my hopes of visiting UK was put on hold and then cancelled altogether. There's always this year right? Job Hunt season still equates to NO JOB!!!

March
The Gyming month and me being Converse Crazy. A Laugh Out Loud memory being me and Wan standing in the middle of a side road and a car honking us to get off the road for who-knows-how-long. Yes, this memories contribute to the highs of 2008.

One of the BEST movie of 08. STEP UP 2!!! and who can forget the addictively overplayed song Low. Nearly everday of the month, the radio played Low over and over and over again and who can blame 'em? It was probably the IT song of March or maybe the year. I missed the Top 100 of 08 so i cant really tell.

It was this month tight here that I "graduated" from my sophmore year in NYP and there's more memories in that alone that could make this a very loooong read. Who could forget the 3 straight days of eating Swensens (maybe that made me lose my abs).

Bummer that we lost in CS5. There is no joy or jubilation in defeat. The month where i finally changed phones from W850i to Ku990 AKA Viewty! so that means no iPhone for me. BOOO!! and another first, even though its this late into the year. I FAILED!!! TWICE!!!! double whammy. But the elusive A has finally been caught. But I didnt manage to repeat the performance. I sense moderation!!

Had Class BBQ at ECP. Stayed over and learned a few camp games from Melvin. July 24th was a day FULL of Ups and Downs. Attended my first school event. Climb Run FTW!! a definite join for my 3rd year. Tiring but definitely fun. Its funny how people shout GO HIDAYAT. Thanks to my soccer jersey.

Been outta soccer commision for 5 weeks. Even my grandpa wonders if I still play soccer. Back to exams. Didnt have a National Day's post probably because I didnt celebrate it?

August was marred by the death of Bernie Mac. Who could forget his hit show "The Bernie Mac Show" and his pivotal role in Charlie's Angle. Not to mention I lost my wallet. Due to that tragic event, Agent 22 is born! Rewang'ed for someone's wedding. Bring back memories of CoffeeBean.

Congrats to Li Jiawei and the rest of the Republic paddlers for winning an Olympic Silver. This month i was introduced to Big Bang's Haru Haru by visiting Azura's blog. Only one of the many Big Bang songs I will fall in love with. I started wearing and wanting a neckerchief.Influenced by Korea/Japan's Hip Hop scene. Watched the Fireworks Display at Marina. Me and Wan found the PERFECT place to study, Library@Esplanade!

September
September marks the beginning of the fasting month. Camp Rock was R-O-C-K-I-N-G AWESOME!!! Demi is sooo *faint*. Me, Mummy and ika's birthday this month. Not to mention Berg's, Nabeel's, Zac's and Wan's mum too.

I got a new blogskin this month which, again, I cant seem to recall. Had back-to-back MS events. First off was the Iftar, next up would be the TMSN camp. Spiritually meaningful events.

This month of 08 was the month that I became legal!!! Legally cleared to drive, smoke, have sex, buy liquor and watch M18 movies. I had 19 wellwishers this year. An improvement of 8 from 07. It was WOW! overwhelming. I had to update my blog every time someone wished me Happy Birthday. It was also the month that I tried straightening my hair. Not sure if i wanna try that one out again.

F1 comes down to town! I supported Fellipe Massa though he didnt win when it mattered the most. Celebrated Mum's Birthday at Secret Recipe. Chocolate Indulgence is yum!

October
Hari Raya month. I dont think I've ever receive a larger sum during raya. Finally enrolled in CDC. Alotta Cliques to go raya-ing with. BTS raya outing was the most epic. You'll have to go to the archives for that. If I were to write it/copy it all down, it would take up all the post space for Jan 09.

Purple baju kurung this year. Played soccer at my DREAM school, NP. Had my BTT on the 15th of next month. 1st time ever that I have to write a 3K report in something which i have absolutely positively no idea what. Also the month in which since of the economic downturn, I bought 2 Vans cheap!

November
My bookworm phase starts emerge. Borrowed 6-9 books from AMK Library so far. I think the phase has since pass since i havent come anywhere near AMK Library for quite some time.

Its surprising at times isnt it? That the year is nearly up and you still have 'firsts'. It was a first for me to ride the Flyer during Haloween. It was in this month that I sprained my ankle really bad that at first I cant even walk proper. I had to limp my way out of the court. All within 10 mins into the match. And because of that injury, I was sidelined for nearly a month even though the Doc said it shld be fine within 2 weeks. Luckily I passed my BTT. A step towards my license.

My Friendster and Facebook senses were tingling this month and till now I've only been active in Facebook. There was also the campout and fishing trip to Changi. Common Test this month. Burning the midnight oil barrel nearly every week leading up and on the Common Test week

December
To think it was only yesterday. Sad to say, I didnt do a good job out of my accts project. December is by far my laziest or most boring time of year judging from my post count--4.
I went Bukit Tinggi again. Sad to say, it was as fun as previously. Sitex with Wan, Zac, Vinc, Arm and Fathul. Bought myself a router, like FINALLY!! and DOTA'ed with Epin. Fathul made me jealous by owning Guitar Hero World Tour on the Wii.

All of that leads to the final hours of 2008

31st December 2008
I'll skip the morning part of the day and just jump into the deep end. Met Ad and Fad at Raffles Shoping Center. Fathul's secret is broken, now everyone knows he smokes. So there we were, Me, Arm, Fathul, Wan, Zac, Ad, Fad waiting for Nabeel to arrive. Checked out babes and did some catching up. When Nabeel came, we walked to Marina Square, found a spot near the lawn and camped our ass for the fireworks. Me, Wan, Zac and Nabeel walked to BK and ordered some food.

After we're done, I suggested buying playing cards. Fathul volunteered to buy 'em. We played Police and Murderer, Werewolve, Cheat, Bluff, a round of Daiji(is that how its spelled?) and camwhored a bit. The night passed us by quickly and before we knew it, it was 11.55. Scrambled to get the last photo of 2008. Within minutes of the New Year, everyone started getting up and shouting. As usual, we joined along.

When the fireworks lit the sky we sang
"OLE OLE OLE OLE, OLE, OLE."

"WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS, MY FRIE-EEEEEENDS

we linked shoulders and swayed as if we were at a concert. It was an awesome night. Walked all the way over to Clark Quay. Arm went home first, then we got lost trying to find HomeClub. Walked from Clarke Quay back to Boat Quay and back again for about 3 times. Caroli and her friends met us there and we exchanged New Years greetings.

Arm SMSed Wan telling us that the last train departing at City Hall would be by 2am. So in the end, Wan, Zac, Fad and Nabeel went clubbing while Me, Fathul and Ad ran back to City Hall. YES WE RAN. Most of it anyway, but in the final stretch we did run. Seconds before we reached the ticket gate, "THE LAST TRAIN DEPARTING FROM CITY HALL INTERCHANGE IS ARRIVING" and boy did we rushed down. Luckily we were seconds shy from the arriving train. Fathul alighted at Eunos while I contemplated on whether to alight at Tanah Merah or Bedok.

In the end I alighted with Ad at Bedok. Walked all the way back home doubting there'll be a bus at 2.15am. Reached home by 2.30, did my prayers and slumped off at 3++.

a memorable 2008 punctuated by a New Years Countdown with a bunch of old friends makes 2008 a year to be missed.

was ok to say the least
woke up at 2
and left at 3-4++
my butt ached of stiffness
whatnot with driving for 6 hours++

reached Colmar Tropical at 12-1++
the person gave us the WRONG!!! room
only one of the MANY mistakes and stuff that marred the visit
so had to waited for 2-3 hours for the room

decided to past the time at the Rabbit Farm
but a whole group of CHINAAAA nationals really ticked me off
first they make noise
second, they hardly queued for the tram
then when the tram came, they rushed in
normally i'll just let this kinda things go,
but they really pissed me off with the noise

postponed the farm visit to the last day
when, we finally got our room
a smaller room then my previous visit
but i cant complain can i?
went to the pool thinking it would be empty like before
but WRONGO!!! it was not crowded not empty
somemore, a group of MAT MALAYSIA!!! conquered the pool shortly after we arrived

im soo lucky to not have been brought up in Malaysia
firstly, when you smile at them, rarely will you get a smile back(snobs!)
number 2, they are either deaf or ignorant.

this was the part that really got me depressed
i saw this nice green Adidas track sweater(RM45, but the guy accepted RM40)
i wanted to try it on, the zipper got stuck
so tkde rezeki(NO LUCK)
walk further along, i saw another track sweater
identical to the one i wanted
plus it was in white with green stripes(hard to find this combo hor)
it was a size too small and yes you guessed it, it was the last one!!!
not my day AT ALL!!!
plus at the Hotel store, i wanted to buy a necklace which i decided to buy the day after
next day, no more necklace
ah!!! the agony!!

Rabbit Farm was ok, i didnt manage to carry as many rabbits as previously
took some pictures with the donkeys
i dunno why but everytime i come near them for a picture
they try to take a nip at my butt.

thats all i can indulge in what went down the last few days
the major thing is im back on home soil safe and sound

was really ticked that after sooo long of not playing
and when i finally got to play, i injured myself
so in a nutshell:
i blocked the ball with my leg, the guy rembat the ball, i heard a distinct "crack" and fell
and that was only in the first 7 mins of the FIRST match
my ankle swelled up pretty fast

went A&E at Changi General at 10pm
waiting time was *faint* 3 hours
had my ankle X-Rayed
and the Doc pressed her finger around the ankle trying to find where it hurts the most.
and boy did she find it.
prior to this, the nurse asked me to rate the pain
i gave it a 6-7 outta 10
when the Doc pressed the hot spot, i gave it a 20

its wasnt a fracture (Syukur)
only a really bad sprain
if the pain is this bad and its only a bad sprain,
i shudder to think what a fracture would feel like
got my ankle bandaged and off to the Qi Ji nearby for makan
took a cab home and i really thank the guy for not putting into effect the Midnite Charge

i keep twisting my ankle now and then
and i have to walk with a limp
NO soccer for 2 weeks
NO MOMC, unless Fad changes the date
YES to etrial test though i might need Berg to help me out.

Post Halloween so what do we do?
ride the SINGAPORE FLYER!!!
cost $30 bucks for an adult
quite cheap compared to the London Eye (where you have to book months in advance for a ride) and the Malaysia Eye (erm, no comments there?)
the area was done up all Halloween-y
staff dressed as gruesome "things" that go bump in the night
this was PURE Halloween.
no fairies, angels and everything nice

the Yakult area was done up as a swamp/desserted park/cemetery
staff would sometimes "crawl" in to unwittingly scare the living (pun intended) daylights out of unsuspecting camwhore-rs
the Flyer, like the Sky Ride in Sentosa, awaits no one so you gotta hop in quick
phototaking every few minutes
enjoyable experience
and the rest as they say is history...

even thought they arent related,

Aunty surprised us all by taking a trip home
this might appear confusing for some so lets get the formalities out of the way
(i have 2 aunts who are currently living abroad. one is in UK while the other is in Abu Dhabi currently working as an air stewardess. this aunt is the latter)
thats twice she surprised us.
the first being Hari Raya

we attended a, sorry to say, cramped wedding in the afternoon
what with alotta people on sucha small area
went to Suntec's Carrefour to look out for stuff for the get-together soon
aunty then decided to have "kopi" at Kampung Glam Cafe
did my evening prayers and the topic of the Singapore Flyer came up
and it was then and there that we decide to go to the Singapore Flyer
(smiles all around)
after the FIRST Singapore Flyer, its off to SWENSENS!!!
met the guy newscaster from Suria and Adi Rahman
haha. my aunt has a crush on Adi.
(++ she's not that old. prolly in her mid twenties. my aunt NOT Adi Rahman)
she keeps fidgeting and you should have seen the look on her face when Adi Rahman casually sat on the next table facing her.

Borrowed this book along with Green Lantern's Hero Quest and Alexander the Great's Empire to Ashes from AMK library.

Although the genre was horror, i found it to be quite a thriller/detective sort of book. Make no mistake, I'll be looking out for more of Micheal Romkey's books. seriously urge you guys to read it.

Set as a memoir, it tells the story of 19th century London, where several murders were inevitably linked to vampires living amongst them. Played out in different perspective of each of the Special Committee, led by the fabled Dr Abraham Van Helsing. The story will go through some twist and turns that might leave the reader a little confuse but a good read nonetheless.

Aunt came down to surprise grandparents 2 days back
broke fast with a buffet at Hyatt's StraitsKitchen
"Nasi Ayam Itik" is yummmmm. (Chicken Rice replaced with duck)
so does that make it Nasi Itik instead? hmm
Aunt bought me a bag which is very ironic
will see why when i post the picture.
although it might appear nonsense but actually its an insider joke

spent my 2nd birthday in a row with NYPMSN cliques
what we did:

basically, you have a piece of paper with your name on it

the paper is being passed around the group

everyone writes a short comment about you

when you get it back, you can read what others think of you

heartfelt thing to do

will post thepictures of my "present" tomorrow.

dont feel like doing it now.

salams. Hello!
back from double Ramadhan events
meaningful, fruitful
no words can fully explain what i've learn
new friends from other Malay Networks (MSes), i have made
plus instead of shirts for the Iftar, free English-translated Quran(EQ) were given out
YAY!! I like!
as most of you may/may NOT know, im not religiously inclined
so with the EQ, its a HUGE boost to my development(spiritually)

time flies so fast
i just realise that Ramadhan was 2 days away
(READ: last 2 days)

so i've compiled a list on things i would/should do
- exercise
Ramadhan is the time where even though I fast, i seem to gain weight
Im thinking of doing laps around the nearby stadium and doing some light gym work
- attend all Terawih prayers
There is never a time when i would completely complete my Terawih prayers
like Azhar said "its never too late to start"
- read at least 10 pages of Iqra "series"
I'm man enough to admit that i have NEVER even reach the "level" of reciting the Quran.
By reading 10 pages each day, i should have accumulated around 300 pages which
would put me just about the first few pages of the Quran perhaps? IsyaAllah (God's Willing)
- be more cool headed around people
i used to recall a time not too far back when i was way WAAAAY cool headed then i am now
(READ: Imma hot head, so what?)
- less smart-assery and more sincere
self-explanatory

im soooo excited about this year's Iftar(breaking fast together)
partly 'cause im in the commitee and partly 'cause im going to lead the Asar prayers
strangely though, its a "dream" of mine to lead my friends in prayers and not just any friends either (no offense to my other cliques) and now ive been given the opportunity to do so.

Finally Exams are done and over with
NO more sleepless nights, NO more stress, NO more frustrations
Imma FREEBIRD!!!

Library@Esplanade is magnifique.
The peace and repose is a fresh subtitute from the stress of exams
a quaint lil getaway from it all, really.
spend the last 2days dawdling there.
did some revising though but not a whole lot.

comtemplating whether to go JB or not.
i just wanna job dangs-it! why are jobs so hard to come by?

went ViVo yesterday.
went there JUST to eat.
just felt like roaming Singapore.
and get this, we met the same girls 4 times while rounding ViVo
i think they're STALKING US!!!! hurhur
off to L@E after that.
Generals all the way till 7++
walked to Central and took a bus home.

Library's do attract INTERESTING(read: funny) people. hmm
